Gary Bell (full name: Wilbur Gary Bell; Ding Dong) played pitcher from 1958 until 1969 for the Cleveland Indians, Boston Red Sox, Chicago White Sox and Seattle Pilots. He played for the Indians from 1958 - 1967, Red Sox from 1967 - 1968, White Sox in 1969 and Pilots in 1969. Over 12 seasons, he started 233 games, won 121 games, struck out 1378 batters, and had a 3.68 ERA. Born on November 17, 1936 in San Antonio, TX, Bell stands 6' 1" and weighs 196 lb. He attended Burbank (Burbank, TX) high school. His debut was on June 1, 1958 and he played his final game on September 12, 1969. Over his career, Bell made $143,500.
