Gary Alexander (full name: Gary Wayne Alexander; no nicknames) played catcher, designated hitter and outfielder from 1975 until 1981 for the San Francisco Giants, Oakland Athletics, Cleveland Indians and Pittsburgh Pirates. He played for the Giants from 1975 - 1977, Athletics in 1978, Indians from 1978 - 1980 and Pirates in 1981. Over 7 seasons, he played 432 games, hit 55 home runs, drove in 169 runs, and stole 8 bases. Born on March 27, 1953 in Los Angeles, CA, Alexander stands 6' 2" and weighs 195 lb.
