About Garry Monahan:
Garry Monahan (full name: Garry Monahan; no nicknames) played left wing from 1968 until 1979 for the Montreal Canadiens, Detroit Red Wings, Los Angeles Kings, Toronto Maple Leafs and Vancouver Canucks. He played for the Canadies from 1968 - 1969, Red Wings in 1970, Kings in 1970, Leafs from 1971 - 1979 and Canucks from 1975 - 1978. Over 12 seasons, he played 748 games, scored 116 goals, and made 169 assists. Born in Barrie, Ontario on October 20, 1946, Monahan stands 6-0 and weighs 199 lbs. He was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in the 1st round (1st overall) of the 1963 NHL Amateur Draft.
