Garry Lariviere (full name: Garry Lariviere; no nicknames) played defenseman from 1980 until 1983 for the Quebec Nordiques and Edmonton Oilers. He played for the Nordiques from 1980 - 1981 and Oilers from 1981 - 1983. Over 4 seasons, he played 219 games, scored 6 goals, and made 57 assists. Born in St. Catharines, Ontario on December 6, 1954, Lariviere stands 6-0 and weighs 190 lbs. He was drafted by the Buffalo Sabres in the 5th round (83rd overall) of the 1974 NHL Amateur Draft.
