About Gabriel Hjertstedt Memorabilia & Collectibles
Gabriel Hjertstedt is a professional golfer who is Swedish by nationality. After his family transferred to Australia, Hjertstedt learned how to play golf. He decided to go professional in the year 1990 and concentrated for some time on the PGA Tour of Australasia. At the same time, Hjertstedt played in the Japan Golf Tour.
Hjertstedt’s next step was to join in the European Tour. His participation of the tour lasted from 1993 all the way to 1996. The best results he got from playing in the European Tour were two runner ups during the 1994 tour.
After playing in the European Tour and showing a lot of promise, Hjertstedt decided to try his luck with the United States PGA Tour. Hjertstedt was off to a great start in the PGA Tour and picked up his first win from the B.C. Open and again the Touchstone Energy Open in the 1999 season. During the BC Open, Hjertstedt was up against Andrew Magee, Lee Rinker and Chris Perry while he went toe-to-toe with Tommy Armour III in the Touchstone Energy Open. Hjertstedt’s best result in the PGA Championship was when he finished as tied at 16 during the 1999 season.
Hjertstedt also played for Sweden during the 1994 and 1999 Dunhill Cups. Hjertstedt is currently playing in the Nationwide Tour.
