 Freddy Antonio Guzman is a professional baseball player who was born on January 20, 1981. He started out as a free agent for the Padres in 2000. While in the minor league, he made the most number of stolen bases in 2004, recording 90 stolen bases.

 

His first Major League Baseball appearance was on August 17, 2004 and made his first hit in the major league during his first six games. However, he failed to appear in the entire 2005 season because of a surgery. On September 11, 2007, he made his first home run in the Major League Baseball during a game held in Comerica Park. According to reviews, he is known in the minor leagues because of his 443 stolen bases in eight seasons in the league.

 

Baseball America ranked him as the second finest prospect for the San Diego Padres. He was signed with the Detroit Tigers on December 5, 2007 but was assigned to the minors and went to free agency at the latter part of the season. He had a minor league deal with the Seattle Mariners also at the end of 2007.

 

He became a member of the Triple-A Pawtucket of the Boston Red Sox on May 16, 2009. August that year he signed with the Baltimore Orioles for a minor league contract. In 2010, he had another minor league contract again, this time, with the Philadelphia Phillies of the MLB.
