Former American football wide receiver, Freddie Mitchell had recently played for the Philadelphia Eagles. He was born on November 28, 1978 in Lakeland, Florida. His real name is Freddie Lee Mitchell and is said to the first round draft pick during the National Football League Draft of the University of California, Los Angeles.
Mitchell played with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2001 where he became the first overall pick of the team making the Freddie Mitchell autographed Eagles mini helmet an important item. It was in 2003 when he showed a good performance in the sport. His biggest on-field contribution took place on January 11, 2004 during the NFC Divisional Playoff Game against the powerful team Green Bay Packers. He was released by the Eagles on May 2005 and then he signed with the Kansas City Chiefs. He was then released by the Chiefs on September 2005. He tried to sign with the Dallas Cowboys but he unfortunately did not make it to the team. In February 11, 2007, he tried to join the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League. It was said by sports blog Deadspin that Mitchell worked as a substitute teacher at Mishawaka High School in Mishawaka, Indiana on November 27, 2006.
