Fred McGriff (full name: Frederick Stanley McGriff; Crime Dog) played first baseman from 1986 until 2004 for the Toronto Blue Jays, San Diego Padres, Atlanta Braves, Tampa Bay Devil Rays, Chicago Cubs and Los Angeles Dodgers. He played for the Jays from 1986 - 1990, Padres from 1991 - 1993, Braves from 1993 - 1997, Devil Rays from 1998 - 2004, Cubs from 2001 - 2002 and Dodgers in 2003. Over 19 seasons, he played 2460 games, hit 493 home runs, drove in 1349 runs, and stole 72 bases. Born on October 31, 1963 in Tampa, FL, McGriff stands 6' 3" and weighs 200 lb. He attended Jefferson (Tampa, FL) high school and was drafted by the New York Yankees in the 9th round of the 1981 amateur draft. His debut was on May 17, 1986 and he played his final game on July 15, 2004. Over his career, McGriff made $65,860,818.
