Fred Frankhouse (full name: Frederick Meloy Frankhouse; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1932 until 1939 for the Boston Braves, Brooklyn Dodgers and Boston Bees. He played for the Braves from 1932 - 1935, Dodgers from 1936 - 1938 and Bees in 1939. Over 13 seasons, he started 212 games, won 106 games, struck out 622 batters, and had a 3.92 ERA. Born on April 9, 1904 in Port Royal, PA (All Transactions), Frankhouse stood 5' 11" and weighed 175 lb. He attended high school. His debut was on September 7, 1927 and he played his final game on September 25, 1939. Common misspellings of his name include Frederick Fred Meloy Frankhouse.
