Fred Enke (fullname: Frederick William Enke Jr.; no nicknames) played from 1950 until 1954 for the Detroit Lions, Philadelphia Eagles and Baltimore Colts. He played 68 games, starting 26 of those. Born in Louisville, KY on December 15, 1924, Enke stands 6'1 and weighs 208 lbs. He attended college at Arizona. He was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the 7th round (47th overall) of the 1948 NFL Draft.
