Frantisek Kaberle (full name: Frantisek Kaberle; no nicknames) played defenseman from 2000 until 2009 for the Los Angeles Kings, Atlanta Thrashers and Carolina Hurricanes. He played for the Kings in 2000, Thrashers from 2000 - 2004 and Hurricanes from 2006 - 2009. Over 9 seasons, he played 523 games, scored 29 goals, and made 164 assists. Born in Kladno, Czechoslovakia on November 8, 1973, Kaberle stands 6-0 and weighs 190 lbs. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in the 3rd round (76th overall) of the 1999 NHL Entry Draft.
