Frankie Gustine (full name: Frank William Gustine; no nicknames) played second baseman, third baseman and shortstop from 1939 until 1950 for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Browns. He played for the Pirates from 1939 - 1948, Cubs in 1949 and Browns in 1950. Over 12 seasons, he played 1261 games, hit 38 home runs, drove in 553 runs, and stole 60 bases. Born on February 20, 1920 in Hoopeston, IL, Gustine stood 6' 0" and weighed 175 lb. He attended high school. His debut was on September 13, 1939 and he played his final game on May 17, 1950.
