Frank Spring (full name: Frank Spring; no nicknames) played right wing from 1970 until 1977 for the Boston Bruins, St. Louis Blues, California Golden Seals and Cleveland Barons. He played for the Bruins in 1970, Blues from 1974 - 1975, Golden Seals from 1975 - 1976 and Barons in 1977. Over 5 seasons, he played 61 games, scored 14 goals, and made 20 assists. Born in Cranbrook, British Columbia on October 19, 1949, Spring stands 6-3 and weighs 216 lbs. He was drafted by the Boston Bruins in the 1st round (4th overall) of the 1969 NHL Amateur Draft.
