Frank Secory (full name: Frank Edward Secory; no nicknames) played leftfielder from 1940 until 1946 for the Detroit Tigers, Cincinnati Reds and Chicago Cubs. He played for the Tigers in 1940, Reds in 1942 and Cubs from 1944 - 1946. Over 5 seasons, he played 93 games, hit 7 home runs, drove in 21 runs, and stole 1 bases. Born on August 24, 1912 in Mason City, IA, Secory stood 6' 1" and weighed 200 lb. He attended Grand Haven (Grand Haven, MI) high school. His debut was on April 28, 1940 and he played his final game on August 10, 1946. Common misspellings of his name include Frank Edward Frank frankie Secory.
