Frank Castillo (full name: Frank Anthony Castillo; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1991 until 2005 for the Chicago Cubs, Colorado Rockies, Detroit Tigers, Toronto Blue Jays, Boston Red Sox and Florida Marlins. He played for the Cubs from 1991 - 1997, Rockies in 1997, Tigers in 1998, Jays in 2000, Red Sox from 2001 - 2004 and Marlins in 2005. Over 13 seasons, he started 268 games, won 82 games, struck out 1101 batters, and had a 4.56 ERA. Born on April 1, 1969 in El Paso, TX, Castillo stands 6' 1" and weighs 180 lb. He attended Eastwood (El Paso, TX) high school and was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 6th round of the 1987 amateur draft. His debut was on June 27, 1991 and he played his final game on May 26, 2005. Over his career, Castillo made $10,940,000. Common misspellings of his name include Frank Anthony Frank frankie Castillo.
