Frank Barrett (full name: Francis Joseph Barrett; Red) played pitcher from 1939 until 1950 for the St. Louis Cardinals, Boston Red Sox, Boston Braves and Pittsburgh Pirates. He played for the Cardinals in 1939, Red Sox from 1944 - 1945, Braves in 1946 and Pirates in 1950. Over 5 seasons, he started 2 games, won 15 games, struck out 90 batters, and had a 3.51 ERA. Born on July 1, 1913 in Fort Lauderdale, FL, Barrett stood 6' 2" and weighed 173 lb. He attended high school. His debut was on October 1, 1939 and he played his final game on September 15, 1950. Common misspellings of his name include Francis Frank frankie Joseph Red Barrett.
