American football player, Fran Tarkenton is also television personality and computer software executive. He was born on February 3, 1940 in Blacksburg, Virginia.

 

He had studied at the University of Georgia and played as a quarterback of the Bulldog football team. He was first drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in 1961 during the third round.
