Ford Garrison (full name: Robert Ford Garrison; Rocky and Snapper) played leftfielder from 1943 until 1946 for the Boston Red Sox and Philadelphia Athletics. He played for the Red Sox from 1943 - 1944 and Athletics from 1944 - 1946. Over 4 seasons, he played 185 games, hit 6 home runs, drove in 80 runs, and stole 11 bases. Born on August 29, 1915 in Greenville, SC (All Transactions), Garrison stood 5' 10" and weighed 180 lb. He attended high school. His debut was on April 22, 1943 and he played his final game on April 28, 1946. Common misspellings of his name include Robert Ford Rocky,Snapper Garrison.
