Floyd Bannister (full name: Floyd Franklin Bannister; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1977 until 1992 for the Houston Astros, Seattle Mariners, Chicago White Sox, Kansas City Royals, California Angels and Texas Rangers. He played for the Astros from 1977 - 1978, Mariners from 1979 - 1982, White Sox from 1983 - 1987, Royals from 1988 - 1989, Angels in 1991 and Rangers in 1992. Over 15 seasons, he started 363 games, won 134 games, struck out 1723 batters, and had a 4.06 ERA. Born on June 10, 1955 in Pierre, SD, Bannister stands 6' 1" and weighs 190 lb.
