Flint Rhem (full name: Charles Flint Rhem; Shad) played pitcher from 1932 until 1936 for the St. Louis Cardinals, Philadelphia Phillies and Boston Braves. He played for the Cardinals from 1932 - 1936, Phillies from 1932 - 1933 and Braves from 1934 - 1935. Over 12 seasons, he started 230 games, won 105 games, struck out 534 batters, and had a 4.20 ERA. Born on January 24, 1901 in Rhems, SC, Rhem stood 6' 2" and weighed 180 lb. He attended high school. His debut was on September 6, 1924 and he played his final game on August 26, 1936. Over his career, Rhem made $5,000. Common misspellings of his name include Charles Flint Shad Rhem.
