Felix Mantilla (full name: Felix (Lamela) Mantilla; no nicknames) played second baseman, shortstop and outfielder from 1956 until 1966 for the Milwaukee Braves, New York Mets, Boston Red Sox and Houston Astros. He played for the Braves from 1956 - 1961, Mets in 1962, Red Sox from 1963 - 1965 and Astros in 1966. Over 11 seasons, he played 969 games, hit 89 home runs, drove in 360 runs, and stole 27 bases. Born on July 29, 1934 in Isabella, P.R., Mantilla stands 6' 0" and weighs 160 lb. He attended high school. His debut was on June 21, 1956 and he played his final game on October 2, 1966.
