Nicknamed as The Warrior, Evander Holyfield is an American professional boxer who’s enormously identified as a former World Undisputed Champion in both the heavyweight and cruiserweight divisions. Over the years of playing a professional boxing career, he’s posted a boxing record that includes: 56 total fights, 43 wins and 28 wins by a knockout.

Holyfield has also gained massive esteem within the sports industry as he’s the sole boxer who has nabbed the World Heavyweight title in four occasions. Along with this impressive accomplishment, he was also able to trounce powerful fighters such as Hasim Rahman, Mike Tyson, Michael Moorer, George Foreman, Riddick Bowe and Larry Holmes.

Prior having a thriving professional boxing career, Holyfield was also triumphant in his amateur boxing career. As a matter of fact, he’s claimed a bronze medal in the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games for the light heavyweight division as well as a silver medal in the 1983 Caracas Pan American Games for the same category.

Perhaps, Holyfield’s most famous fight was that up against Mike Tyson, wherein such match was dubbed as “The Bite Fight”. While the duo was having a rematch, Tyson bit Holyfield’s ear. The fight still continued, considering the doctor has told the referee that Holyfield can still keep up with the fight. However, Tyson went for another bite, but this time tore off the top part of his ear, and Tyson noticeably spit out the helix out of the ring.
