Ethan Allen (full name: Ethan Nathan Allen; no nicknames) played outfielder from 1932 until 1938 for the New York Giants, St. Louis Cardinals, Philadelphia Phillies, Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Browns. He played for the Giants in 1932, Cardinals in 1933, Phillies from 1934 - 1936, Cubs in 1936 and Browns from 1937 - 1938. Over 13 seasons, he played 1281 games, hit 47 home runs, drove in 623 runs, and stole 84 bases. Born on January 1, 1904 in Cincinnati, OH, Allen stood 6' 1" and weighed 180 lb. He attended Withrow (Cincinnati, OH) high school. His debut was on June 13, 1926 and he played his final game on June 18, 1938.
