Ernie Johnson (full name: Ernest Thorwald Johnson; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1950 until 1959 for the Boston Braves, Milwaukee Braves and Baltimore Orioles. He played for the Braves from 1950 - 1952, Braves from 1953 - 1958 and Orioles in 1959. Over 9 seasons, he started 19 games, won 40 games, struck out 319 batters, and had a 3.77 ERA. Born on June 16, 1924 in Brattleboro, VT, Johnson stands 6' 3" and weighs 190 lb. He attended Brattleboro High School (Brattleboro, VT) high school.
