Eric C. Williams was born in Newark, New Jersey who had played as a small forward for the National Basketball Association. He played college basketball at the Providence College.
Williams began his career in basketball when he was drafted by the Bolton Celtics with the 14th pick in the NBA Draft in 1995. He stayed with the team for 2 years and was afterwards traded to the Denver Nuggets. During his games with the team, he had anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee. He was later traded back to the Boston Celtics then to the Cleveland Cavaliers. He signed as a free agent with the New Jersey Nets in August 6, 2004. He was then sent to the Toronto Raptors along with other team mates for Vince Carter. Williams recorded an average of 8.8 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game. In 2005, he launched his own line of clothing said to honor the non- existent Negro Basketball League. On June 2006, he was sent to the San Antonio Spurs. He was eventually sent to the Charlotte Bobcats and was finally released by the Bobcats on March the same year.

Eric Williams (full name: Eric C. Williams; no nicknames) played Forward from 1996 until 2007 for the Boston Celtics, Denver Nuggets, Cleveland Cavaliers, New Jersey Nets, Toronto Raptors, San Antonio Spurs and Charlotte Bobcats. Over 12 seasons, he played 658 games, scored 5642 points (8.6 ppg) and grabbed 2139 rebounds (3.3 rpg). Williams also dished out 936 assists (1.4 apg), made 548 steals (0.8 spg), and blocked 103 shots (0.2 bpg) during his career. Born in Newark, New Jersey on July 17, 1972, Williams stands 6-8 and weighs 220 lbs. He attended high school at M.X. Shabazz in Newark, New Jersey and college at Providence College. He was drafted by the Boston Celtics in the 1st round (14th pick, 14th overall) of the 1995 NBA draft.
