 Eric Todd Piatkowski, the son of ABA's former player Walt Piatkowski, is a basketball player for the American professional who recently played for Phoenix Suns in the National Basketball Association. Born in September 30, 1970, this native from Steubenville, Ohio who got his nicknames "Pike" and "The Polish Rifle" for his accuracy in three-point shooting already standout in basketball way back during his high school days at the Rapid City Stevens High School.

 

He carried the title "Mr. Basketball" for South Dakota State after leading his team to victory in the school's All-State selection championship. He went to the University of Nebraska and played for four years, wearing jersey No. 52.

 

Following his eligibility, stint at the University of Nebraska, the Indiana Pacers drafted Piatkowski from the 1994 NBA Draft, but Pacers dealt his drafts rights to the Los Angeles Clippers ending as franchise leader in the games he played. He became a free agent with Houston Rockets prior to the 2003-2004 season, but before 2004 was over, he became a Bull.

 

The highlights of Piatkowski's career includes playing in the 199 World Basketball Games for the United States, scoring 36 points against Dallas Mavericks, ranking third in the 2001-2002 NBA season, holding the 26th place for career 3-point percentage field goal.

Over 14 seasons, he played 789 games, scored 5919 points (7.5 ppg) and grabbed 1716 rebounds (2.2 rpg). Piatkowski also dished out 778 assists (1.0 apg), made 404 steals (0.5 spg), and blocked 115 shots (0.1 bpg) during his career. Born in Steubenville, Ohio on September 30, 1970, Piatkowski stands 6-7 and weighs 215 lbs. He attended high school at Stevens in Rapid City, South Dakota and college at University of Nebraska. He was drafted by the Indiana Pacers in the 1st round (15th pick, 15th overall) of the 1994 NBA draft.
