He played for the Tigers from 2000 - 2004, Devil Rays in 2005, Astros from 2006 - 2007 and Athletics in 2009. Over 9 seasons, he played 361 games, hit 49 home runs, drove in 97 runs, and stole 4 bases. Born on October 3, 1977 in San Diego, CA, Munson stands 6' 3" and weighs 220 lb. He attended Mount Carmel (San Diego, CA) high school and was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the 1st round (3rd pick) of the 1999 amateur draft. His debut was on July 18, 2000.
