Eric Montross (full name: Eric Scott Montross; no nicknames) played Center from 1995 until 2002 for the Boston Celtics, Dallas Mavericks, New Jersey Nets, Philadelphia 76ers, Detroit Pistons and Toronto Raptors. Over 8 seasons, he played 465 games, scored 2071 points (4.5 ppg) and grabbed 2159 rebounds (4.6 rpg). Montross also dished out 207 assists (0.4 apg), made 122 steals (0.3 spg), and blocked 275 shots (0.6 bpg) during his career. Born in Indianapolis, Indiana on September 23, 1971, Montross stands 7-0 and weighs 270 lbs. He attended high school at Lawrence North in Indianapolis, Indiana and college at University of North Carolina. He was drafted by the Boston Celtics in the 1st round (9th pick, 9th overall) of the 1994 NBA draft.
