Elvin Bethea (fullname: Elvin Lamont Bethea; no nicknames) played from 1968 until 1983 for the Houston Oilers. He played 210 games, starting 178 of those. Born in Trenton, NJ on March 1, 1946, Bethea stands 6'2 and weighs 260 lbs. He attended college at North Carolina A&T. He was drafted by the Houston Oilers in the 3rd round (77th overall) of the 1968 NFL Draft. Bethea was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2003.
