Baylor has one of the most complete arsenals of basketball moves in the history of the sport, and in 1996 he was voted as one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History.
An 11-time All-Star, Elgin Baylor was one of the most prolific scorers in league history. His 23,149 career points place him as one of the top-30 scorers the NBA has ever seen. In a 1962 NBA Finals game against the Boston Celtics, Baylor scored an NBA Finals record 61 points and led the Lakers to a 126-121 victory over their rivals. The 61 point outburst still stands today as the most point scored in an NBA playoff game that did not go into overtime.
