Elbie Fletcher (full name: Elburt Preston Fletcher; no nicknames) played first baseman from 1934 until 1949 for the Boston Braves, Boston Bees and Pittsburgh Pirates. He played for the Braves from 1934 - 1949, Bees from 1937 - 1939 and Pirates from 1939 - 1947. Over 12 seasons, he played 1415 games, hit 79 home runs, drove in 723 runs, and stole 32 bases.
