Eddie Yost (full name: Edward Frederick Yost; The Walking Man) played third baseman from 1944 until 1962 for the Washington Senators, Detroit Tigers and Los Angeles Angels. He played for the Senators from 1944 - 1958, Tigers from 1959 - 1960 and Angels from 1961 - 1962. Over 18 seasons, he played 2109 games, hit 139 home runs, drove in 1215 runs, and stole 72 bases. Born on October 13, 1926 in Brooklyn, NY, Yost stands 5' 10" and weighs 170 lb. He attended Adams (Manhattan, NY) high school.
