Eddie Solomon (full name: Eddie Solomon; Buddy J) played pitcher from 1973 until 1982 for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Chicago Cubs, St. Louis Cardinals, Atlanta Braves, Pittsburgh Pirates and Chicago White Sox. He played for the Dodgers from 1973 - 1974, Cubs in 1975, Cardinals in 1976, Braves from 1977 - 1979, Pirates from 1980 - 1982 and White Sox in 1982. Over 10 seasons, he started 95 games, won 36 games, struck out 337 batters, and had a 4.00 ERA. Born on February 9, 1951 in Perry, GA, Solomon stood 6' 2" and weighed 185 lb. He attended high school.
