Eddie Pellagrini (full name: Edward Charles Pellagrini; no nicknames) played shortstop, second baseman and third baseman from 1946 until 1954 for the Boston Red Sox, St. Louis Browns, Philadelphia Phillies, Cincinnati Reds and Pittsburgh Pirates. He played for the Red Sox from 1946 - 1947, Browns from 1948 - 1949, Phillies in 1951, Reds in 1952 and Pirates from 1953 - 1954. Over 8 seasons, he played 563 games, hit 20 home runs, drove in 167 runs, and stole 13 bases. Born on March 13, 1918 in Boston, MA, Pellagrini stood 5' 9" and weighed 160 lb. He attended high school.
