Eddie Griffin (full name: Eddie J. Griffin; no nicknames) played Forward from 2002 until 2007 for the Houston Rockets and Minnesota Timberwolves. Over 5 seasons, he played 303 games, scored 2171 points (7.2 ppg) and grabbed 1744 rebounds (5.8 rpg). Griffin also dished out 236 assists (0.8 apg), made 105 steals (0.3 spg), and blocked 518 shots (1.7 bpg) during his career. Born in Philadelpia, Pennsylvania on May 30, 1982, Griffin stood 6-10 and weighed 220 lbs. He attended high school at Roman Catholic in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and college at Seton Hall University. He was drafted by the New Jersey Nets in the 1st round (7th pick, 7th overall) of the 2001 NBA draft.
