Born on January 8, 1957 in Kinston, North Carolina, Dwight Clark was a Pro Bowl wide receiver of the San Francisco 49ers.  He had studied at the Clemson University. His real name is Dwight Edward Clark.

 

He was studying at the university when he was drafted during the 10th round of the 1979 entry draft. He had a fine career where he accomplished 506 catches for 6,750 yards and 48 touchdowns, together with 50 rushing yards. He had led the National Football League with 60 receptions during the strike shortened 1982 season and he made it to the Pro Bowl twice all in his nine National Football League seasons making the Dwight Clark signed 49ers Riddell mini helmet a cool item to have.
