Dutch Meyer (full name: Lambert Daniel Meyer; no nicknames) played second baseman from 1937 until 1946 for the Chicago Cubs, Detroit Tigers and Cleveland Indians. He played for the Cubs in 1937, Tigers from 1940 - 1942 and Indians from 1945 - 1946. Over 6 seasons, he played 286 games, hit 10 home runs, drove in 113 runs, and stole 5 bases. Born on October 6, 1915 in Waco, TX, Meyer stood 5' 10" and weighed 181 lb. He attended high school. His debut was on June 23, 1937 and he played his final game on September 22, 1946.
