Dusty Baker (full name: Johnnie B Baker; no nicknames) played outfielder from 1968 until 1986 for the Atlanta Braves, Los Angeles Dodgers, San Francisco Giants and Oakland Athletics. He played for the Braves from 1968 - 1975, Dodgers from 1976 - 1983, Giants in 1984 and Athletics from 1985 - 1986. Over 19 seasons, he played 2039 games, hit 242 home runs, drove in 964 runs, and stole 137 bases. Born on June 15, 1949 in Riverside, CA, Baker stands 6' 2" and weighs 183 lb. He attended Del Campo (Carmichael, CA) high school and was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the 26th round of the 1967 amateur draft. His debut was on September 7, 1968 and he played his final game on October 4, 1986. Over his career, Baker made $1,350,000. Common misspellings of his name include Johnnie B.
