Duffy Waldorf is an American professional golf player. He was born in Los Angeles, California. Waldorf took his college education when he attended the University of California in Los Angeles where he was part of the university’s golf team from 1982 to 1985. Back in his college career, Waldorf was 1985 College Player of the Year, two-time National Collegiate Athletic Association All-American, and was selected for the Walker Cup. Before turning pro, Waldorf had several achievements during his amateur career, with wins on; 1984 California State Amateur, 1985 Pac-10 Individual Champion and Broadmoor Invitational.
Waldorf is 6 ft. and 225 lbs. Waldorf turned professional in 1985 joining the PGA Tour. As of August 2008, Waldorf is sixty seventh on the all time career money winners list. He has been featured in the Official World Golf Rankings as top 50. Waldorf regained his 2008 PGA Tour card after finishing T-14 in the 2007 Q-School. However, he underwent knee surgery in May 2008 after playing in only 4 events. To date, Waldorf had won four PGA Tours; Valero Texas Open in 1995 against Justin Leonard, Buick Classic in 1999 against Dennis Paulson, Westin Texas Open in 1999 against Ted Tryba and the National Car Rental Golf Classic Disney in 2000 against Steve Flesch.
