Major League Baseball relief pitcher, Duaner Sanchez plays for the New York Mets. He was born on October 14, 1979 in Cotui, Dominican Republic. Sanchez bats and throws right-handed. 

           

He is famous for his hard throwing style and distinctive sports goggles that he wears while he is on the mound. He had attended Francisco E. Carvajal High School in 1996.
