Duane Kuiper (full name: Duane Eugene Kuiper; no nicknames) played second baseman from 1974 until 1985 for the Cleveland Indians and San Francisco Giants. He played for the Indians from 1974 - 1981 and Giants from 1982 - 1985. Over 12 seasons, he played 1057 games, hit 1 home runs, drove in 329 runs, and stole 52 bases. Born on June 19, 1950 in Racine, WI, Kuiper stands 6' 0" and weighs 175 lb. He attended Case (Racine, WI) high school and was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 1st round (21st pick) of the 1972 amateur draft (January Secondary).
