Duane Ferrell is a retired professional NBA player who became active in the late 1980’s to the late 1990’s. He was born on February 28, 1965 in Baltimore, Maryland. During his high school years, he played for the Calvert Hall College varsity basketball team. He helped his team win the 1982 National Championship. He chose to go to Georgia Tech during his college years and became the Atlantic Coast Rookie of the Year in 1985.
Although Ferrell was never really drafted, he was able to play for the NBA after signing as a free agent with the Atlanta Hawks. He stayed on with the Hawks for six seasons and was able to make an average of 12.7 points for 24.2 minutes of game time. He signed with the Indiana Pacers in 1993 and went on to play for three seasons with the team. He was traded off to the Golden State Warriors and played for the team until his retirement in 1999.
At the end of his career, Ferrell made 3,704 points, 1,132 rebounds and 509 assists.

Ferrell also dished out 509 assists (0.9 apg), made 302 steals (0.5 spg), and blocked 105 shots (0.2 bpg) during his career. Born in Baltimore, Maryland on February 28, 1965, Ferrell stands 6-7 and weighs 209 lbs. He attended high school at Calvert in Towson, Maryland and college at Georgia Institute of Technology.
