 Drew Pearson is a retired professional football player and is currently working as a sportscaster. Pearson was with the Dallas Cowboys when he was still in the National Football League and occupied the wide receiver position. As a player, Pearson wore the jersey number 88 – you can get autographed NFL jerseys and NFL jerseys of the former wide receiver.

 

Pearson was born in South River, New Jersey and went to South River High School where he was the football team’s quarterback after fellow alumnus Joe Theismann graduated. Pearson decided to go to the University of Tulsa after high school and was given Tulsa’s President’s Award.

 

Pearson signed with the Dallas Cowboys in 1973 as a free agent. Pearson, also known as Mr. Clutch, quickly became one of the best wide receivers in the league. Pearson was named into the 1970’s NFL All-Decade Team and is also part of the top 20 all-time list of wide receivers. Throughout his entire stay in the NFL, Pearson was able to play in three Pro Bowls – in 1974, 1976 and 1977. Pearson was also named into the first team of the All-Pro selection in the same years and into the second team in 1975. Pearson helped Cowboys win the Super Bowl XII before retiring in 1983.
