A former National Football player, Andrew Hill or simply Drew Hill, was born on October 5, 1956 in Newnan, Georgia. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in round twelve of the 1979 NFL Draft and spent his first few rookie years with the team. Listed at 5 ft. 9. in., Hill plays as a wide receiver in the national league. Before making his way in NFL, he polished his wide receiver skills at Georgia Tech. He played for the Los Angeles Rams from 1979 to 1984 and then transferred to the Houston Oilers in 1985 and stayed with the team until 1991. As part of the Oilers, he became a team leader in number of pass receptions. Together with Curtis Duncan, Warren Moon, Ernest Givens and Haywood Jeffires, he played in the Oilers’ Run and Shoot offensive line. Because of his remarkable skills, he was named to the Pro Bowl selection twice, one in 1988 and the other in 1990. In 1992, he joined the Atlanta Falcons and spent two years with them. In 1993, Hill went into retirement. He wore jersey numbers 87 and 85 and posted career records of 9,831 receiving yards, 60 touchdowns and 634 receptions.
