Doyle Alexander (full name: Doyle Lafayette Alexander; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1971 until 1989 for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Baltimore Orioles, New York Yankees, Texas Rangers, Atlanta Braves, San Francisco Giants, Toronto Blue Jays and Detroit Tigers. He played for the Dodgers in 1971, Orioles from 1972 - 1976, Yankees from 1976 - 1983, Rangers from 1977 - 1979, Braves from 1980 - 1987, Giants in 1981, Jays from 1983 - 1986 and Tigers from 1987 - 1989.
