Doug Rombough (full name: Doug Rombough; no nicknames) played center from 1973 until 1976 for the Buffalo Sabres, New York Islanders and Minnesota North Stars. He played for the Sabres from 1973 - 1974, Islanders from 1974 - 1975 and North Stars from 1975 - 1976. Over 4 seasons, he played 150 games, scored 24 goals, and made 27 assists. Born in Fergus, Ontario on July 8, 1950, Rombough stands 6-3 and weighs 215 lbs. He was drafted by the Buffalo Sabres in the 8th round (97th overall) of the 1970 NHL Amateur Draft.
