Doug Overton (full name: Douglas M. Overton; Doug) played Guard from 1993 until 2004 for the Washington Bullets, Denver Nuggets, Philadelphia 76ers, Orlando Magic, New Jersey Nets, Boston Celtics, Charlotte Hornets and Los Angeles Clippers. Over 11 seasons, he played 499 games, scored 2253 points (4.5 ppg) and grabbed 654 rebounds (1.3 rpg). Overton also dished out 1038 assists (2.1 apg), made 202 steals (0.4 spg), and blocked 19 shots (0.0 bpg) during his career. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on August 3, 1969, Overton stands 6-3 and weighs 190 lbs. He attended high school at Dobbins Tech in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and college at La Salle University. He was drafted by the Detroit Pistons in the 2nd round (13th pick, 40th overall) of the 1991 NBA draft.
