Doug Lidster (full name: Doug Lidster; no nicknames) played defenseman from 1984 until 1999 for the Vancouver Canucks, New York Rangers, St. Louis Blues and Dallas Stars. He played for the Canucks from 1984 - 1993, Rangers from 1994 - 1998, Blues in 1995 and Stars in 1999. Over 16 seasons, he played 897 games, scored 75 goals, and made 268 assists. Born in Kamloops, British Columbia on October 18, 1960, Lidster stands 6-1 and weighs 190 lbs. He was drafted by the Vancouver Canucks in the 7th round (133rd overall) of the 1980 NHL Entry Draft.
