About Doug Jarvis:
Doug Jarvis (full name: Doug Jarvis; no nicknames) played center from 1976 until 1988 for the Montreal Canadiens, Washington Capitals and Hartford Whalers. He played for the Canadies from 1976 - 1982, Capitals from 1983 - 1986 and Whalers from 1986 - 1988. Over 13 seasons, he played 964 games, scored 139 goals, and made 264 assists. Born in Brantford, Ontario on March 24, 1955, Jarvis stands 5-9 and weighs 170 lbs. He was drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2nd round (24th overall) of the 1975 NHL Amateur Draft.
