Doug Gibson (full name: Doug Gibson; no nicknames) played center from 1974 until 1978 for the Boston Bruins and Washington Capitals. He played for the Bruins from 1974 - 1976 and Capitals in 1978. Over 3 seasons, he played 63 games, scored 9 goals, and made 19 assists. Born in Peterborough, Ontario on September 28, 1953, Gibson stands 5-10 and weighs 175 lbs. He was drafted by the Boston Bruins in the 3rd round (36th overall) of the 1973 NHL Amateur Draft.
